Database Systems has been in the business of doing Engineering and Service based software since 1995.
Our first major system was the NETSTAR vehicle protection system under contract from NETSTAR in 1995.
Continuing from this syetem we developed the Stormwater Design system Hydrosim for Hydrologists and Civil engineers which has now evolved into the HYDROCUBE Product which has been in operation since 2003.

Adjacent to HYDROCUBE we have developed 2 product lines namely CESMIS(Central Electronic System Management Information System, managing water network restitution materials and SMME’sSERVICE SERVICE in Soweto and Ekurhuleni metros) and CONSTRUCT (an RDP housing materials and contractor management system in use currently with WK Construction in Blue Downs Capetown)

HYDROCUBE

The latest incarnation from the old Hydrosim, HYDROCUBE a Stormwater management and design system for Hydrologists and civil engineers, which is being advanced from the previous model with new elements including Catchments, chanels, pipes, dual drainage, retaining ponds, culverts and Riparian filters and the ability to export and import from Microsoft Excel for ease of use and integration into other systems which include network visualisation via GEPHI visualisation software.

CESMIS

CESMIS was originally written to assist SMME’s in managing their water distribution upgrading and repairs to households in Soweto and Ekurhuleni Metro’s by managing and controlling the materi als, progress and Jobcards issued to SMME’s in the restitution of the ageing infrastructure and installation of water meters for the relevant Metro’s in households residing in these suburbs and townships. Data analysis and reports are all exportable in PDF or Microsoft Excel for data reporting, analysis and manipulation into custom reports.

CONSTRUCT

This system grew out of the CESMIS product to include all facets of the RDP housing construction in detail allowing multiple SMME’s to participate in the construction of a site, delineating each SMME’s job description, billing and progress tracking and encompassing the water network restitution which is only addressed in the CESMIS product.

Data Analysis and reports are all exportable in PDF or Microsoft Excel for data reporting analysis and manipulation into custom reports.
